In January 20-21 we organise a minisymposia in Stockholm with three leading nordic scientists in the field of Music and Mind. The minisymposia will be a part of the Culture and Brain series, but open to anyone interested in the field.
Mari Tervaniemi is researcher at Institute of Behavioural Sciences at University of Helsinki. Her current research is focused at investigating the mechanisms of human auditory cognition, emotion, and expertise.
Peter Wuust is Director of the Center for Music in the Brain at Aarhus University, Denmark, and has done important works on brain response to rythm.
Fredrik Ullén is professor at Department of Neuroscience, Karolinska Institute, Stockholm. His research focuses on the neuropsychology of expertise, in particular musical expertise.
